The 55th and 56th Annual Delegate Conferences of the Federation of All India Hindustan Construction Workers Union (a member of the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board) were held on December 22nd and 23rd, 2025. The conferences were organized at the Aikatan Auditorium in IA Block, Sector-3, Salt Lake.

The conferences were attended by the organization’s president Santosh R., general secretary Sunil Sarkar, treasurer Sushil Kumar Mallick, along with other leaders and representatives of the organization.

This organization is an old and traditional workers’ union of Hindustan Construction Company. It was officially registered in Kolkata in 1996. For a long time, the organization has been relentlessly fighting for the legitimate rights, benefits, and interests of the workers.
At the conference, General Secretary Sunil Sarkar expressed dissatisfaction with the policies of the management. He stated that it is the responsibility of the management to ensure all due benefits for the workers, and the organization will continue its struggle for this demand in the future.
It is worth noting that elections are held democratically in this organization every two years.
