Bharat Sanskriti Yatra 2025…

Bharat Sanskriti Yatra – A grand conference of Indian classical music and dance. A classical music conference is going to be held on the evening of 27th and 28th November and all night on 29th November 2025 at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata. This event is probably the biggest event of this year in South East Asia – this is what the organizers of the conference – Hindustan Art & Music Society, Convener Shri Deepak Sarkar and Secretary Pandit Prosenjit Poddar claimed.

In order to promote this festival to the culture lovers, a press conference was organized by the organization at the Kolkata Press Club. The conference was attended by the president of the conference, Shri Debashish Kumar, legendary classical music artist Pandit Kumar Bose, Pandit Sanjay Mukherjee, Pandit Vikram Ghosh, Pandit Tanmay Bose, Pandit Prosenjit Poddar, Pandit Mallar Ghosh, renowned santoor player Tarun Bhattacharya, music artist Shri Raghav Chatterjee, Kathak dancer and guru Madhumita Roy, Odissi dancer and guru Sanchita Bhattacharya and a host of artists.

The President of the conference, Shri Debashis Kumar (MLA), said, “Kolkata has always been the heart of Indian art and culture. Bharat Sanskriti Yatra is a glorious reflection of our heritage and talent. It is a real honour to host a festival that connects generations of artists.
Eminent tabla player Pandit Kumar Bose said, “This Yatra is not just a festival—it is a spiritual and musical journey that unites us through rhythm, melody and devotion. It is a common platform for young and established artists.”

Renowned santoor player Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya said, “In today’s rapidly changing world, it is very important to preserve our cultural roots. Bharat Sanskriti Yatra creates a bridge between tradition and modernity, which inspires young artists.”

Pandit Prosenjit Poddar said, “Our aim has always been to celebrate the essence of Indian culture—where legendary artists and young talents participate together. Through this festival, we want to spread the message of art, peace and harmony.”

Festival convener Shri Deepak Sarkar said, “Every year this festival becomes richer with the enthusiasm of artists and spectators. We are grateful to all the artists and well-wishers and invite everyone to come to Nazrul Mancha and witness this three-day beautiful and dance-filled festival.”

Bharat Sanskriti Yatra 2025 will be a unique cultural gathering—where renowned and young artists from different parts of India will come together in the din of melody, rhythm and dance. The tradition and pride of our Bharat Varsha, the pride of Bengal, will resound at the Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata, the cultural capital of Kolkata.
