‘Flex Arm 2025’ concluded successfully, draws huge response
Arm-wrestling is becoming increasingly popular in India, primarily due to the establishment of the professional Pro Panja League (PPL) and the achievements of Indian competitors on the global stage. India had earned 176 medals in various categories at the esteemed 23rd Asian Arm-wrestling Championship and the 22nd Asian Para-Arm-wrestling Championship, organized by the People’s Arm-Wrestling Federation of India (PAFI) in New Delhi this year. Arm wrestling is already included in events such as the Youth Asian Games and the World Police Games.

Kolkata’s largest Arm Wrestling Competition, ‘Flex Arm 2025’, was held on October 26th, 2025, at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium in Kolkata. This event, organized by Stamina Unleashed, aimed to promote physical fitness while showcasing individual strength and endurance. The organization regularly hosted such events to encourage increased participation in sports, foster a culture of fitness, and instill positive values within the community, particularly among the youth. “This was one of the most significant Arm-wrestling events taking place in India, featuring a cash prize of ₹2 lakhs. Esteemed athletes from across India would be competing there. Consequently, it presented an excellent opportunity for athletes from Bengal to engage and learn from the highly experienced senior athletes,” stated David Khan of Stamina Unleashed.
