First time in bengali cinema based on time vortex, an upcoming science fiction Poyla Boishakh a fipm by Arka Dasgupta.
Mumtaz Sorcar, Santilal Mukherjee, Sneham shared the screen together along with Suvosmita Mukherjee, Anindya Pulak Banerjee, Avijit De, Swati Mukherjee, Supriyo Chatterjee, Mitali Bhattacharya and many others.

Director’s Note

I just wanted to show a hypothetical scientific phenomenon through a long, epic and impactful triangular love story, in which the intelligent youth can relate both emotionally and logically. “The beginning of the change” shakes the bricks of axiom and cuts right through the general beliefs of fleeting mankind just like a katana and it brings you to a new universe of hope and belief

where the immortal human intellect takes charge on all the living souls on earth.

Here in Poyla Baishakh, we have created a magical phenomenon of time vortex, where three time planes are colliding at a same point and creating a new universe and our protagonist is stuck in this universe with an unknown woman.

Now all these time planes have different time limit to complete a specific circle, though the value of time or the magnitude and substance of the occurrence are the same. Now this anomaly is creating the vortex with multiple loops and continuously slowing down the mentioned universe’s time flow than the natural flow of time.

I guess people will enjoy watching something like this, which they have never seen before. I would have thoroughly loved to see a fiction like this and that is why me and my team have put an enormous effort into creating this, as we have faced countless odds while shooting this feature film.
