GRAVITE embodies Nissan’s momentum and market confidence…

Kolkata, December 18, 2025 — Nissan has unveiled the name of its all-new seven-seater B-MPV: GRAVITE, set to launch in early 2026 as the first product in its refreshed India line-up. Purpose-built for modern Indian families, the GRAVITE promises exceptional versatility, modularity, and comfort—redefining convenience for value-conscious households while accelerating Nissan’s product renaissance.
Announced in July 2024 as part of Nissan Motor India’s ambitious product offensive, the GRAVITE will be followed by the premium SUV Tekton in mid-2026 and a seven-seater C-SUV in 2027. Together, these launches reaffirm Nissan’s deep commitment to diversifying and strengthening its portfolio for Indian customers.
Drawing inspiration from “gravity,” the name GRAVITE symbolizes balance, stability, and attraction. It reflects Nissan’s vision of designing vehicles that anchor families in comfort and connectivity. “The All-New GRAVITE is a testament to Nissan Motor India’s renewed focus on the evolving Indian market,” said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India. “Deeply rooted in the fabric of the country, it is designed to be the perfect companion for the diverse needs of our customers.”
Manufactured locally in Chennai, the GRAVITE combines bold design with everyday usability. Its signature C-shaped grille, sleek proportions, and muscular stance ensure a confident road presence. Inside, ultra-modular seating and pioneering storage innovations transform family journeys—whether daily commutes or long road trips. Distinctive hood branding and rear-door badging further amplify its exclusive identity.
“India continues to be a strong contributor to AMIEO’s performance, and Nissan Motor India plays a pivotal role in our strategy,” noted Massimiliano Messina, Chairperson, Nissan AMIEO. “The reveal of the GRAVITE demonstrates our continued momentum and reinforces our confidence in the road ahead.”
To support this growth, Nissan is expanding its dealership network nationwide, ensuring accessibility and enhanced customer experience. Meanwhile, the Nissan Magnite—exported to 65 markets—continues to underscore India’s role as a manufacturing and export hub.
With GRAVITE leading the charge, Nissan’s India roadmap signals a bold, multi-segment offensive tailored to evolving consumer aspirations, anchoring the brand’s next phase of growth.
