Aditya Birla Vani Bharati Celebrates 66th Foundation Day with a Powerful Message on Gender Balance…

Kolkata, 23rd November 2025:
Aditya Birla Vani Bharati School marked its 66th Foundation Day with a grand celebration at Science City Auditorium, highlighting a progressive theme — “Maintaining Balance Between Matriarchy and Patriarchy.” The event showcased the institution’s commitment to promoting equality, cultural awareness, and holistic student development.

One of the major highlights of the celebration was a vibrant and thoughtful staging of “Chitrangada”, the iconic dance-drama by Rabindranath Tagore. Through this performance, students conveyed a strong message on women empowerment, emphasizing the importance of strength, identity, and dignity in modern society.

Adding to the uniqueness of the occasion, both girls and boys performed Tabla, drawing applause from the audience for breaking stereotypes and celebrating inclusivity in classical music. This rare and refreshing presentation stood out as a special attraction of the evening.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Gautam Sarkar said,
“Over 600 students participated in this year’s Foundation Day celebrations. Their enthusiasm and dedication truly reflect the ethos of our school — nurturing talent while encouraging equality, respect, and harmony.”

He also announced the school’s forward-looking plan:
“We are planning to build an exclusive Girls’ Tabla Group to further encourage young girls to pursue percussion arts with confidence.”

The 66th Foundation Day celebration reaffirmed Aditya Birla Vani Bharati School’s mission to inspire students to embrace culture, uphold values, and contribute meaningfully to society.
